Week 21 – Year 2 (flaming & flower)
29th June – 3rd July 2009
We had a heat touch in England, ‘flaming’ June at least lived up the name given… all my fans been taken out from the loft and have a good turn on….
The heat gives out the best colour on all the flower plants and here are some I caught their best poise….
Plot Neighbour’s front row
This one is from Mike plot 11….. wild flower patch…
Pat & Barry’s plot 9, a mini garden with pond feature ….
Mike from plot 24… looking forward for the bumper apples….
Sweet Peas
My sweet Peas have a big splash of colour this year and I have picked a lot of them…..
Harvest
This is a continuing job… really satisfactory and delightful one….
Next week we’ll pop to Cornwall for our annual break…. chase the seagulls ….

Very nice effort, Virginia. I like your photos.
I think it was Mike who told me your web site. I hope he sees this. I have resisted the temptation to steal his apples!!!
I’m sure I know the ones – they are abundant.
I hope to see you on the site soon. I go there maybe once or twice a week.
btw, we went to the Henbury Flower Show last weekend, but did not see Pauline’s entries. Did you go? You should have an entry! I ought to put one of my loaves in for a prize!
See you soon,
Tim
Thank you very much for your lovely comments, computing is next I like beside allotmenting. This fast growing technology is hard to catch and I am trying to pace up as best I can but planting is another area… easy to achieve the goal as what I sow is what I get… I didn’t go to the Flower Show but organised my daughter’s birthday party instead…Never mind there must another Flower Show at the Westbury village… The recent rain did brillient to the courgettes, I popped down today and got myself some giant courgettes and giant beetroots…. See you..
Hi Virginia
Some lovely posts, and pictures, as usual.!!
