Week 40

10th November – 16th November 2008

Rain and rain and rain came back this week, I popped down to the allotment mainly to fill in the compost bins, caught a bright spell (damp air but not rain while the sun trying to stand in) prepare a spot for my next sow of board beans…..and sow them eventually; the second lot…..

The other highlights are: the Spring Onion has shoot up…..the October sowed board beans has shoot up too……my first trial of the Jerusalem Artichokes look like ready to harvest, the edible roots…..

Cooking all these vegetables is another exciting adventure, here is some Mizuna Leaves that I use from my allotment put into plates………yum yum.
